About Dr. Rebecca Meldrum

Dr. Meldrum is passionate about helping women and their families take back their health. Her personalized, integrative plans focus on building the foundations of optimal health to help individuals achieve their health goals.

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Dr. Meldrum spent her childhood as a gymnast. She competed at the elite level, was a member of the U.S. National Team, and earned a full scholarship to the Stanford University Women’s Gymnastics Team. After four years as a Division I NCAA student-athlete, she began training and racing triathlons while earning her master’s degree. Her lifelong interest in health and healthy aging became less focused on the conventional medical model and more on prevention and encouraging healthy lifestyles.

Dr. Meldrum helped to build a sports program for kids in Japan and upon returning to the United States, organized triathlons and led bike tours in the Southwest. As Sports Manager for the Special Olympics Nevada, she encouraged people of all abilities and mustered up the courage to audition for Cirque du Soleil. She subsequently spent nearly three years performing as a professional acrobat in KÀ at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. While performing 10 shows a week and inspiring 4,000 audience members each night, she continued to participate in full-distance triathlons.

Dr. Meldrum was introduced to naturopathic medicine when she witnessed the unequivocal interconnectedness of the environment and health during a 4,500-mile, self-supported bicycle trip with her husband. Having met, worked with, and lived with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, Dr. Meldrum’s interest for a healthcare system grounded in scientific evidence and traditional use was ignited and naturopathic medicine was a natural next phase. Since graduating with her doctorate, Dr. Meldrum has done additional training in functional medicine, and became a certified Lifestyle Medicine professional in 2023.

When Dr. Meldrum is not with patients, she enjoys her greatest endurance endeavor: parenthood! As a mom of three young boys, she understands the juggle of home, work, school, play, self-care, and all the roles that come with being a mother. Whether she is practicing health care; walking the beaches of the Sound; hiking PNW trails; flying at iFly Seattle; cheering at soccer games; practicing breathwork; or cooking, gardening and playing at home, her passion is promoting an energetic, balanced, healthy life for her family and her patients.
